Local Group Finds a ‘Sweet’ Way to Help the Children in Ghana

Known for their courage, confidence and character, the Girl Scouts of America have a great idea of how to make an impact on the lives of others. As stated in their mission statement, their main objective is to “make the world a better place.” They strive to do their best and they always keep the interests of others in mind.

The children of the Touch A Life Foundation have recently benefitted from this hard work and dedication put forth by local Brownie Troop 7236 from Coppell, TX. As many people already know, they sell cookies throughout the year to raise money for various causes. This year, the money raised was used to purchase two pairs of Crocs, which will be worn by the rescued children in Ghana.

This donation, no matter how small, will undoubtedly go a long way. A new pair of shoes may seem like a modest gift, but for the children receiving them, they mean the world. For the children in Ghana, Crocs have proven to be durable and cost-effective, making them very practical for everyday use.

We would like to thank Troop 7236 for their efforts, and we hope that many others will learn from their kindness and compassion and get involved as well. When it comes to making a difference, anything and anyone can help our cause and touch a life.
