The Touch A Life Art Auction Fundraiser on the evening of November 5th was a great success! Over 100 people from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area attended the event in University Park, despite the threat of thunderstorms. The host committee displayed Ghanaian paintings, jewelry, photography, and fabric throughout the home of Cammy Wynne Williams. The paintings were created by children and staff at the Touch A Life Care Center in Ghana, and photographs of the children and surrounding landscape were available by photographers Nancy Borowick and Natalie Shelton.
Pam Cope, co-founder of Touch A Life, spoke to the guests about her gratefulness for each person who supports Touch A Life’s work around the world to help end child exploitation through rescue, education, and art healing.
