It is a high quality Private School in Kumasi. Joy Standard was founded in 1992 by Mr. and Mrs. Stephen and Christina Donkor, community members who are now the executive directors of Joy Standard. The Donkors ensured that the school was centered on stellar academics and good morals.

Joy Standard has experienced tremendous growth since its establishment in 1992. The institution started with just 12 students and has since grown to 1,200 students. Joy Standard offers all the children a quality education as well as moral guidance. The institution is a nondenominational school, and it strives to meet each and every student with quality Christian education.

School UniformsThe children in Kumasi can receive an education from Joy Standard from pre-school all the way through senior high school. Joy Standard operates with the knowledge that true education must be built on and centered on Christ and the Scriptures. Joy Standard also incorporates the Bible as the basis upon which every course and every activity in the school is evaluated.

The children wear their spiffy uniforms each day to school at Joy Standard where they have access to well-furnished classrooms, an assembly hall, dining hall, dormitories, a library, a computer lab, and science laboratories.

The children are so thankful to be receiving an education. Joy Standard has been such a blessing in Kumasi!
